The 7th Annual Gold Meets Golden hosted a special brunch at the Virginia Robinson Gardens on Saturday, January 4th.  The event brought together some fo the greatest athletes from across the world to celebrate during the Golden Globes weekend.  The party saw Hollywood wish good luck to the athletes fo the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020.  Gold Meets Golden benefited Angel City Sports, a Los Angeles organization hat fosters young athletes with disabilities with the resources, coaching and equipment they need to train as future adaptive Paralympic hopefuls.  "Gold Meets Golden 2020" is presented by The Coca-Cola Company, the longest continuous corporate partner of the Olympic Games.  "Gold meets Golden" is also in partnership with Beverly Hills BMW and FASHWIRE.

NYC Pride welcomes World Pride to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and a half a century of LGBT liberation.  Over 3 million global travelers and New Yorkers alike will gather as friends, partners and family members create a LGBT experience.  All the events for 2019 reflect the depth of the LGBT community.  From the iconic nature of the NYC Pride March and rally on June 30th to the newer events such as Youth Pride and Pride Island.  From rallies to parties to lectures, many are free but some require a ticket.  All events are produced by NYC Pride.  A good time will be had by all.  See you there.  ...Enjoy!

Celebrites galore attended the best gifting suite for the Golden Globes on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, California.  Jewelry, Cosmetics, Health and Wellness Products were just some of the the many products gifted to Talent at the Secret Room Celebrity Gifting Suite.  Celebrity, Stefano Kaye, from the critically acclaimed movie, Prom Date, posed at one of the many booths at the show.  The movie Prom Date was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City and was nominated for a very prestigious Jury Award at the Festival.  Also spotted in the crowd were: Brian Cox, nominated for Succession, Mike Moh, nominated for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, London Brown Ballers, Craig DiFrancia, nominated for the Irishman, Chad Johnson, a winner from the Bachelor, Gilles Marini, Esai Moraels, DC Universe Titans, Rita Branch and Francesco Bauco from Ford v. When one looks up the word DIVA in the dictionary, I am sure you will see a photo of CHER next to the definition!  With that being said, her stellar seven decades of life has been brought to Broadway in a fabulous fast moving musical show at the Neil Simon theater - 250 W. 52nd Street, New York City. And what a great idea!  The show starring Stephanie J. Block is practically sold out for every performance, with long standing ovations at every show.  Cher has had such a remarkable life that it took 3 actresses to pay her.  It starts from her childhood to her Grammy, Emmy, and of course - her Oscar winning performance in my favorite movie of all time - "Moonstruck."  The show includes 35 musical and breathtaking dancing performances - and lets not forget the fabulous sequin gowns from icon fashion designer Bob Mackie.  Seeing these gowns worn by Cher is worth the price of admission alone.  The show also covers significantly her 2 failed marriages to rock stars Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman.  Her duet song with Sonny "I Got You Babe" bolted her to stardom.  It then led to a tv show plus to becoming a household name all over America.  But their marriage ended in bad terms with Sonny predicting that Cher could not make it without him - how wrong was he!  Cher credits her mother's inspiring advice of "never giving up" with her continued rise to stardom.  She became a bigger star without Sonny and is still going strong today at age 70.  Good for you Cher!  You are an inspiration to all of us.  With that being said, as Cher would say "snap out of it" and run over and buy tickets to this fantastic new show.  You will thank me forever.
